This story is based on a true story.

Chelsea was born with microtia and atresia. When she was five years old, Chelsea and her family travelled to have Chelsea's ear reconstructed. The Surgery has made a significant change in Chelsea's life and she is very grateful to her surgeon and to all the other ear reconstruction surgeons who dedicate themselves to helping children with microtia.

Chelsea loves her new ear and wanted to share her story with other children who have microtia and atresia.

Chelsea and her sister Brittany have illustrated this book.
